Important Information - Please read prior to ordering

Hand Stamped jewellery is made by hammering small stamps into the metal letter by letter. As each letter is stamped individually by my own hand there will be small differences in letter depth, spacing and alignment. No piece will ever be 'perfect' and no two pieces will ever be the same. This should not be viewed as a flaw, but a characteristic unique to your piece. Hand hammered silver will not have the same look as mass produced, machine made jewellery, there will be very slight 'imperfections' on your piece. If you are looking for something that looks perfectly printed, please consider another style that has been machine pressed or made using a computer - hand stamped is not for you!

As our pieces are handmade they will not all be identical in size down to the millimetre, please allow a variance in size of 2-3 mm

The "Wording" box is the place to put all of your wording, and relevant notes in regards to placement of your words, spacing etc. If your piece has multiple tags such as the heart stacks or Halos, please also note which names are to be stamped on each sized piece. In the absence of any instructions from you, your names will be stamped as listed from top to bottom, or smallest to largest, and will be spaced according to what I think best fits and is visually pleasing. Please note, i do not offer free re-makes if you have not left any instructions regarding placement of your names and are not satisfied with where I have stamped them!

What are your pieces made from and will they peel, tarnish or flake?

Silver Stamp jewellery is made from quality 925 Sterling Silver and Gold Fill so your piece will not flake or peel. Most people can wear sterling silver daily with no problems however due to contact with soaps and perfumes, the humidity where you live, and mostly the chemicals that occur naturally in some people's skin tarnish can occur over time. This is normal and not a fault in the jewellery. All you need to do is give your jewellery a firm but gentle clean with a yellow jewellery polishing cloth that you can get from and jewellery store. Avoid jewellery cleaning dips as this can remove the black in your letters.

What is Gold Fill or Rose Gold Fill?

Gold fill is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal.  Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating.  Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant.  It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.  As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewellery.  Gold filled jewellery is an economical alternative to solid gold!

How many words can i fit on my piece?

This is a tricky one as it depends on the total amount of letters and spaces, and on the font you choose. Please look at the product pictures and use this as a guide as to what will fit on your piece. If you are unsure or would like a reccommendation please send me an email

Can I return my piece to have extra names added later on?

Yes you can! I charge a flat rate of $30 for this service which includes your entire piece being cleaned, polished, letters being re-blackened if necessary as well as your new name being added and postage back to you. If you are planning to add names later on please let me know when you make your order as this will affect how I space your wording.
